USF Leroy Collins Blvd
This project involved full-depth road reconstruction, asphalt milling and paving, and concrete curb replacement.

During the summer break, Alto Construction performed major road reconstruction at the iconic USF Leroy Collins Boulevard. This project involved full depth road reconstruction, asphalt milling and paving, concrete curb replacement.
Our in-house concrete crews removed and replaced thousands of linear feet of Type F curb. The full depth reconstruction consisted of asphalt and base removal, 12” stabilization, import of new crushed concrete roadbase, fine grading, and two lifts of asphalt paving. Nearly 100% of this work was handled with in-house personnel and equipment. This asphalt restoration project consisted of multiple phases. Alto Construction set up and monitored the Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) to keep a safe & productive working environment while still allowing access to the campus’s important infrastructure.
