Alto Construction successfully completed an asphalt roadway construction project inside MacDill Air Force Base. As one of the few asphalt paving companies trusted to work inside the base, Alto was honored to tackle this project. Our team self-performed full depth reclamation for approx. one half mile of roadway. Full Depth Reclamation involves mixing the existing asphalt pavement with the existing roadbase material, regrading the fortified base material, and then asphalt paving. Road Construction is one of the many in-house services that we provide at Alto Construction. During the course of this Full Depth Reclamation asphalt work, we organized and maintained MOT to keep a safe and productive working environment while also facilitating continuous traffic. This project was deemed highly successful by the Air Force Base with ‘no comment’ provided from the final walkthrough.
